Team
No creature stitches alone
In Creativity In Vitro, the "team" is not a static list of names — it's a living network of minds, tools, institutions, and wild contributors. Some are human. Some are neural. Some are structural. Some are machines.
This page honors all of them:
Mad Scientists
The main instigators, provocateurs, and conjurers behind the project.Together, they build interfaces between thought and image, neurons and data, imagination and matter.
Alchemists
Specialized collaborators who lend their knowledge, guidance, and magic to the experiment. They are mentors, advisors, consultants, and occasional disruptors.
Alchemists help us turn sparks into prototypes.
Stitchers
Open collaborators, supporters, and curious minds who contribute in any way — whether through sharing ideas, testing devices, sending references, or offering feedback.
Would you like to become a Stitcher?
We welcome co-conspirators of all kinds. If you'd like to participate in the project, collaborate, or simply
say
hello,
send us a message or
open an issue on GitHub.
Your thread might become part of the weave.
Institutions
This project would not be possible without the support of the organisms around us.
CloudWalk
This research is being developed thanks to an artistic residency at CloudWalk, which provides us with the time, space, infrastructure, and encouragement to explore radical questions at the intersection of art, science, and machine learning.

University of Bern
Our work is also grounded in ongoing research through the CAS in AI for Creative Practice at the University of Bern, where we explore the creative and cognitive dimensions of artificial intelligence in contemporary culture.

We believe institutions are not just frameworks — they are active agents in the ecology of creation. We thank them as co-authors in this process.
It takes a lab to raise a monster.
